Apollo Neuro for Biorhythm Regulation
I already knew this year was going to be difficult, before it even started. I’d spent so much time in the storm and I wanted out. But the storm doesn’t stop as soon as you shout “Cut!”. The only way out is through. And yet, I knew I didn’t want to waste my time on the “getting through” drama if at all possible. From the beginning I was trying to brainstorm ways to short circuit this process so I could begin to focus more on myself, my own projects, and what I really wanted out of life.
The Apollo Neuro
I saw this Apollo Neuro thingy advertised as a tool that could help you self regulate your biorhythms, especially after or during stress. Sign me up! I was of course a bit doubtful, as one always is with trying new things, especially if they are pricey. But I thought I could use all the help I could get. And if it did work, then it would be worth it, in terms of time saved and time quality costs.

Let's try this...
So finally I did buy it and tried it out. It’s been about a month since I got it, and I’ve been using it nearly every day. Basically, you strap it on your ankle (I like to place mine on that sensitive spot right behind my ankle bone, but sometimes I also put it right on the front part of my ankle right above where my foot sticks out), and it sends out little vibrations that feel like a massage. You download an app on your phone that allows you to choose between several modes, such as “Clear and Focused“, “Rebuild and Recover“, “Relax and Unwind“, “Sleep and Renew“, and more. You can also choose the intensity of the vibrations, and how long you’d like for the session to last.
The Reaction
It really helps! I’ve found the relaxing modes like “Rebuild and Recover”, “Relax and Unwind”, and “Sleep and Renew” to be the most helpful for me at the moment. I was hoping to use “Clear and Focused” more, but after so much stress I think my body’s just not quite ready for that yet. I have used that mode some to good effect, but what really feels good for me right now is “Rebuild and Recover.” Sometimes I use it for hours! The “Sleep and Renew” also helps get me to sleep quickly, which is invaluable.

Recommendation
Although I am only a sample size of one with no control group, I felt a definite positive difference using the Apollo Neuro. It does indeed work for biorhythm regulation to a noticeable extent. I can say it really has helped me both recover from past stress and manage current stresses in a much more effective way than I would have been able to all on my own. And I find myself reaching for it when I’m feeling run down or want to relax.
I’d say the Apollo Neuro basically helps reduce the recovery time that you might normally need. I am all for that! I barely have time to cook for myself, let alone deal with life’s dramas. I’ll continue to use this throughout the year and see how it goes.
In the meantime, I’d really recommend trying the Apollo Neuro yourself if you are recovering from or dealing with stress as well!
